Verde Chef Service provides premium, in-home culinary support for busy families and professionals. We handle the planning, shopping, and cooking, so you can reclaim your time.

Our Service Area

We proudly serve residential kitchens throughout Philadelphia and the Main Line, including:

  • Main Line: Ardmore, Bryn Mawr, Gladwyne, Haverford, Villanova, Wayne and greater mainline.

  • Philadelphia: Center City, Chestnut Hill, and surrounding neighborhoods.

Weekly Service Tiers

Our service includes a custom-designed menu, professional grocery shopping, on-site meal preparation (approx. 2 hours), and a complete kitchen clean-up. Each session provides 3 custom entrees (12 generous servings total) plus appropriate sides.

  • Sunday – Tuesday Service: $335 Professional Fee

  • Wednesday – Thursday Service: $285 Professional Fee

Note: Service fees do not include the cost of groceries. Clients are invoiced for the exact grocery total (typically $120–$180 depending on menu choices). Sales tax is applied to all services in accordance with Pennsylvania state law.

How It Works

  1. Custom Menu Design: We create a menu based on your dietary goals (Keto, Paleo, Gluten-Free, or Family-Style).

  2. The Shop: We source the freshest local ingredients on the morning of your service.

  3. In-Home Prep: We arrive at your home, cook your meals from scratch, and package them with clear heating instructions.

  4. The Clean-Up: We leave your kitchen sparkling clean and your fridge stocked for the week.

Policies & Consistency

To maintain the highest level of service for all our clients, Verde Chef Service operates under the following standards:

  • 7-Day Cancellation Policy: Because our schedule is limited to specific weekly slots, we require a minimum of 7 days' notice for any cancellations or skips. Cancellations made with less than 7 days' notice will incur a 50% service fee charge.

  • Kitchen Readiness: To ensure we stay on schedule for all our daily clients, we ask that the kitchen workspace and sink be clear upon the chef's arrival.

  • Grocery & Tax: The service fee secures your date. Grocery reimbursements and applicable sales tax are invoiced following the service and are due upon receipt.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be home while you cook? Not at all. Most of my clients provide a key or security code. You can go about your day and return to a stocked fridge and a clean kitchen.

How do I reheat the meals? Most meals are designed for simple reheating in the oven or on the stovetop. If a specific dish requires special attention, I’ll let you know directly, and you can always shoot me a text if you have a quick question.

Do you provide the containers? I recommend using glass storage containers for the best results. If you don’t have a set, I can suggest a few options that fit my prep style, or we can use what you currently have on hand.

What about the groceries? I handle all the shopping the morning of your service, sourcing the best ingredients from local premium markets. You'll simply be billed for the exact grocery total.
